In a post made by Apple CEO Tim Cook on X, it was informed that soon iPhone 14 users will get free SOS service for one year. Let us tell you that Apple had launched the Emergency SOS service with iPhone 14.
What is emergency SOS service?
If you do not know what Apple’s Emergency SOS service is, then let us tell you that in times of trouble, it provides the facility to send your location through satellite with the help of Find My App. Along with this, you can also send messages through iMessage in SOS service. It works even when there is no network in the mobile. You can say that in very bad conditions this feature can even help in saving people’s lives.
Service was launched with iPhone 14
Let us tell you that Apple started its Emergency SOS service from US and Canada. After launch, the company expanded its scope and started it in 16 other countries also. At present this service of Apple is not available in India. However, it is expected that the company may soon launch it in India also. Before starting SOS service here, the company will have to take necessary permission from the government.
