According to the official blog post, WhatsApp’s Privacy Checkup feature guides users about all the privacy settings available in WhatsApp settings. So that users can check it and enable the right protection as per their need. This feature also allows users to control the information they are sharing and receiving from others on the platform.

To start, you have to go to your privacy settings and tap on Start checkup. After this you will see many options on the screen. From where you will be able to select who can contact you, who can add you to the group and you will also be able to manage blocked contacts. You will also be able to edit your personal information like your profile photo, last seen and online status and read recipient. Apart from this, you will also be able to add more privacy to your chats and groups. For this you will have to set disappearing messages and also enable end-to-end encrypted backups.
How to silence unknown callers
For this, first open WhatsApp and then go to Settings. Then tap on Account and go to Privacy. Scroll down and tap Blocked Contacts. Then tap on Add from the top right corner. Then select Unknown from Contacts and then tap on Block.
Enable lock screen like this
Open WhatsApp and go to Settings. Then go to Privacy and scroll down and tap on Screen Lock. Turn on Require Face ID/Touch ID to Unlock.
How to enable two-factor authentication (2FA)
First of all, open WhatsApp and go to Settings. Then tap on the account and go to two-step verification. Now tap on Enable Two-Step Verification. Now enter 6 digit PIN here and then tap on Next. After this enter your e-mail address and tap on Next. After this you will receive an e-mail with the verification code. After this, enter this code on WhatsApp and then tap on Next.
